This session will introduce learners to two key innovative tools used in the construction industry which can be used to help drive more efficient and sustainable building practices:

  • Cysyniadau sylfaenol BIM fel offeryn sy'n darparu cydweithrediad mwy effeithiol ac effeithlon rhwng yr holl randdeiliaid trwy gydol y broses adeiladu, gan ganolbwyntio ar y gallu i fodelu perfformiad ynni rhagfynegedig adeilad yn ddigidol, a deall carbon ymgorfforedig y deunyddiau a ddefnyddir ar gyfer adeiladu yn ystod y cam dylunio
  • Cyflwyno technolegau cipio realiti tra fanwl a all gynhyrchu modelau 3D cynhwysfawr o'r amgylchedd adeiledig.

The session will demonstrate to learners how these new technologies can help in the evaluation of existing buildings, better informing decisions for retrofitting and repurposing of existing buildings to create a more sustainable built environment.
