A unique CITB funded training centre

The Construction Wales Innovation Centre (CWIC) is a unique CITB funded all-Wales training centre with its hub forming part of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s new SA1 Swansea Waterfront Innovation Quarter.

Hub and Spokes Model

Using a ‘Hub and Spokes’ CWIC’s partners, also known as Spokes, include Coleg Cymoedd, Coleg Cambria, Coleg Ceredigion, Coleg Sir Gar and the Building Research Establishment.

Since September 2016 this partnership along with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David has been delivering bespoke and specialist training to all sectors and levels within the welsh construction industry including its supply chain on a demand-led basis. Funded by the CITB for 3 years (2017-2019) this training programme has been completed.   See our news page for further information on our achievements.
