Building Information Modelling Competition
Are you up for the Skills Competition Wales Building Information Modelling (BIM) competition?
The Task – You work for a Construction and Engineering Company based in Wales. Your team has been tasked with the construction of temporary sleeping pods to support NHS key workers, working long hour shifts. The requirement is to design and construct 10 sleeping pods within the designated training bays allocated.
Each sleeping pod must not exceed total internal area of 35 square metres and must contain the following features:
- 2 LED lights for reading
- At least one operable window.
- Internet access – Wifi
- Power connections – 2 power sockets and 1 USB port.
- Compartment for storing bags, laptops and clothing.
- Small Bathroom – toilet, shower and hand basin
