Course Content
The remote learning ground school covers everything you need to know about operating your drone safely and
within the rules. You will receive access to our industry-leading e-learning platform and will have access to our
ongoing support offering.
The A2 subcategory will allow you to fly confidently in open spaces and fly closer to people and structures.
Using drones and thermal sensors to promote energy efficiency in buildings.
Drones and thermographic technology can help support building energy efficiency initiatives. UAV’s and thermal
sensors have emerged as popular tools for building surveying and energy efficiency.
Remote drone-based sensors can now measure temperatures, assess heat loss, identify missing or degraded
insulation, and locate sources of moisture. Thermal cameras offer a non-intrusive means of diagnosing building
conditions and rapidly visualise information that would otherwise be difficult to collect and communicate.
Course Duration
1 day practical (classroom) and 2-3 days online learning.
