Stroma Certification’s Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) training is approved by the Awarding Body of the Built Environment (ABBE). On completion of the course, candidates will be qualified to collect domestic property data, generate Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), and comply with the Reduced Data Standard Assessment Procedure (RdSAP).
Candidates attend a 3 day online MSTeams course, then are supported through their portfolio compilation using Stroma’s OneFIle learning management system. All material including access to Stroma’s rSAP+ software is included.
This qualification is also the entry requirement for moving on to the Retrofit Assessor qualification.
On completion of the above, candidates will be able to join the government-approved certification scheme, to ensure they are fully supported through their work as a DEA and the ability to lodge reports on the approved government portal.
