All members of the AEC Industry from Architectural Technologists, Architects, Designers, Engineers, Constructors, Project Managers and Cost consultants and particularly those required to deliver BIM Level 2 projects.

Course Content

1. Who Needs a BIM Manager? (1 hr)
o Identify Key Roles
o Distinguish between the BIM Information Management roles
o Summarise BIM Information Management responsibilities relating to each role

2. Information Delivery (1 hr)
o Explain the BIM Lifecycle workflow
o Identify key project documents (EIR, OIR, AIR & BEP)
o Explain the key elements to each document

3. Standards, Methods and Procedures (1 hr)
o Explain the requirements for graphics, information, and data exchange SMPs
o Explain good geo-spatial practice
o Identify key standards
