Whilst digital has transformed everything from hospitality and banking, to healthcare and e-commerce, the UK’s construction industry has been slow to adopt this change. This new Level 5 ILM accredited qualification is designed to support senior managers in the construction sector to gain critical skills for leading on digital transformation.

Background

The benefits of digital construction are well rehearsed. The adoption of digital technologies is a huge opportunity for the UK construction industry, providing it with the chance to improve its productivity, increase efficiency and attract a younger and more diverse workforce.

The risks of not embracing technological opportunities are also well known. Without widespread adoption of digital technologies, the industry will become marginalised and at risk of significant disruption. Competitors with technological expertise are likely to enter the market, potentially squeezing out traditional contractors and suppliers.

In response to this market failure the NFB are pleased to provide this newly created ILM accredited course for professionals working in the construction sector.

Course overview

  • The aim of this qualification is to provide managers/ senior managers with a foundation for their personal development in leading digital transformation in construction sector organisations.
